Dr. Ionel Nistor

Dr. Ionel Nistor is a dedicated and passionate dentist with a special interest in oral surgery and implantology, currently working as a visiting dental and implant surgeon across multiple practices. He qualified in Romania in 2011 and has since pursued advanced training, including a Master's in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Surgery (London, 2020), a PG Certificate in Implantology (London, 2019), and various additional specialising courses with the Buser & Sculean Academy in Switzerland and the VSS Academy in the UK. He is an active ITI member and a regular ITI study club participant. Most recently, Dr. Nistor was awarded the prestigious Membership in Implant Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He is highly confident in performing complex oral surgery procedures, including surgical extractions, cystectomies and apicectomies, as well as the full range of implant surgeries — from immediate anterior cosmetic cases to full arch implant rehabilitations, All-on-X and teeth-in-a-day procedures. His expertise also covers all types of guided bone regeneration (GBR) with or without PRF, sinus floor elevation (internal and external), and soft tissue grafting procedures. Meticulous and passionate about dentistry — particularly implantology — Dr. Nistor prides himself on excellent communication skills and being a true team player. He has consistently built strong rapport with his patients, earning their trust through honest recommendations and clear, comprehensive treatment plans. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nistor enjoys swimming, cycling and snowboarding.
