At Dental By Design we pride ourselves on offering a second to none aftercare package. We advise that you visit the practice twice a year for a deep clean of your implants ensuring that any harmful bacteria is removed and ensuring the longevity of your implants.

“Amazing touch and care by Dr Chal. The only dentist; and I had seen many; who is so expert that even the numbing injection DOES NOT hurt. I had 3 implants , one bridge and Two crowns. “Came across this dental practice by chance on FaceBook and I'm so happy I did. I was sold at my initial consultation where the dentist gave me an honest and thorough breakdown of recommendations and options to solve my dental problem. In some cases, the jaw bone might not be strong enough in the area for immediate implant placement. The dentist will recommend an augmentation procedure using a bone graft.

Yes. Modern fixed full-arch implant supported bridges are nearly indistinguishable from your natural teeth. Nobody will know that your teeth aren’t real unless you choose to tell them. Not only do All-on-4 bridges look and feel like natural teeth, they also function like natural teeth. Enjoy increased biting and chewing strength when eating all your favourite foods. Maintaining your All-on-4 is just like caring for natural teeth. Daily brushing and use of a Waterpik is all you need to keep your smile shining like new.
Yes. All-on-4 is available for both your upper and lower arch. It is often possible to have both arches of teeth installed in the same visit, even if you require numerous extractions.
The surgery lasts approximately two hours per arch and the procedure is not painful. After the anaesthesia wears off, patients can experience light to moderate swelling and soreness for a few days. In most cases, you’ll be able to return to work or your normal routine within one to two days.
One of the primary advantages of All-on-4 versus traditional implants is that the angled installation allows for fixed-bridges in patients that would otherwise have required bone grafts. Therefore most patients are not required to undergo bone grafting prior to having implants.
Patients usually require 24-48 hours to adjust to the placement of their new teeth. You may have slight speech issues during this time. All-in-4 implants are very strong and stable from day one and you’ll be able to eat most foods straight away. You may be asked to avoid especially brittle or hard foods for 10-12 weeks, at which point you can return to your regular diet.
